“We had a wonderful experience with Eivan's! We did tons of research prior to selecting our photography & videography packages. Their 10-hour package for both photo and video was way more affordable than other companies. They had good reviews, so we went for it! I did worry about whether we cheaped out (the whole "you get what you pay for" mentality), but I'm so happy to say that our wedding photos are absolutely stunning and we were really pleased with the video. I appreciate how you can offer feedback on editing. I was not a fan of the first photographer they matched us with (just stylistic differences) - and the Eivan's team worked through the weekend to find us an alternative. We were so relieved! Pro tip: Just in case we didn't like how the video was cut together, I also asked for the raw footage in our initial contract and they provided it at no additional cost. The basic package includes a 30-60 minute video but our videographer took almost 11-hours of footage - we wanted it all! I was very grateful to the company for accommodating our request. All in all, the only area you feel "you get what you pay for" is the timeline post-wedding. It takes a long time for you to get access to the high-res imagery without watermarks. But we are being patient and not spending extra to get them before the holidays! We figure, we'll have these beautiful photos the rest of our lives, what's three months? When you know this ahead of time it'll help to manage expectations and you won't be peeved like so many nutty brides out there who left bad reviews because of it. Thanks Eivan's!”

For us, we chose DJ Jimn and he was so nice to run through the program the week before the event, and make sure we were on the same page. On our wedding day, since we were on a time crunch, he needed to move around minimal details and everything went well! As for the party, all age groups enjoyed and danced!!! I'll recommend DJ Jimn to our friends and families! Just let the DJ know not to finish all the music and change it every 1-2 chorus. Budget-wise, you can have a host/DJ all in one.”

“I’m SO satisfied with our experience booking with George Street! I was drawn to them because I thought they were more reasonably priced compared to what some individual photographers are charging these days (we’re in the Seattle market), but I didn’t feel like the price advantage came at a sacrifice of quality. I loved the photos our photographer John C. took (who was AMAZING!) for both our engagement/portrait session and of course the photos on the day of the wedding. He did a fantastic job capturing all the beautiful memories we made that day, and we are so grateful. The booking process was really simple, too—I arranged a meeting with one of their sales reps (Amber) who did an excellent job explaining exactly how their company works, the packages available, how to choose your photographer and so on. Once we booked with them, we were given access to an online portal to put in all the necessary info that would be passed along to the photographer. One thing I would say is that because you are contracting with a company and not the individual photographer, you aren’t able to communicate directly with the photographer very often. You really are hiring them for photography only, so collaborating with them on the event timeline and other details is not really an option. Any questions you have generally need to be sent via the wedding coordinators at George Street, as you won’t even receive your photographer’s email or phone number until you actually meet them (it’s possible this is not the case for everyone, but just our experience). To be clear, this was NOT an issue for us at all, but just something to be aware of if a more hands-on photographer that can help with coordination and planning is really what you’re looking for.”

“Lindsay with Mostest was AMAZING! She helped us tremendously when the event planner for the Charleston Princess quit just a few weeks before my daughter’s wedding. There were many obstacles to navigate including not being able to board the vessel to set up and decorate until 2 hours before guests would begin boarding. Lindsay single handedly transported a car load of personalized details, decorations, party favors, bar items, extra linens, numerous picture frames and a huge Charleston Harbor nautical chart that served as the guest book. She had to take several trips from her car down a very long pier to get to the boat and set it all up in such a short time span. She managed it all beautifully! The timeline she created was amazing and we were actually a bit ahead of schedule prior to the ceremony. This gave us all some time to relax while sweet Lindsay was preparing for all of our guests to arrive. After the reception, Lindsay stayed on board and began packing up all of our special items carefully. We returned to the vessel after sending the bride and groom off, to find that she had managed to pack most of our items without our help. I can’t say enough about all that she did for us, especially with all of the hiccups and stresses we faced the last few weeks. She handled everything with such grace and poise! This MOB was quite stressed with the adversity we were facing that was out of our control and Lindsay smoothed everything out!! I can’t say enough about her!! Do you want the wedding playlist to be a reflection of you and your spouse's music choices? Then you want to book Summit Events ASAP. Our wedding DJ was Sean Markland and he was just phenomenal to work with. Prior to our wedding we had a lengthy call with Sean; my husband and I were very picky with our wedding playlist and had a rule of absolutely no traditional wedding reception songs or line-dances. We love electronic dance music (EDM) and wanted our wedding to be "festival/show vibes". We pretty much curated our own playlist of EDM, country, hip-hop, folk and I really wasn't sure how our guests would respond (and we really didn't care because it was our wedding), but the way Sean mixed and transitioned the songs and hyped up the dance floor kept the vibes going all night! We used Summit Events for our up lighting too - highly recommend as it was a great way to turn the room from a classy dinner reception to a dance party in one click! The sound quality was great for both speeches and music; we wanted to make sure guests could hear speeches clearly and we had no issues at all even though it was a large room. I also appreciated the Vibo app that we used to plan out our ceremony, entrances, first dances and our playlist for the night - it was a great tool that kept songs and notes in one place. We would definitely use Sean and Summit Events again and highly recommend them for the best night of your life!”

We also had a ceremony guitarist and a saxophonist with tracks for the cocktail hour, which added great touches to the day. The uplights they brought for the room were priced very well and created a beautiful atmosphere. The music planning worksheet they provided was incredibly helpful, and they offered valuable advice on the timeline and flow of the reception, which was a huge help. They were fun to work with, and on the night of the wedding, they absolutely crushed it. The music was fantastic, they kept the vibes high, and their crowd engagement was excellent. I enjoyed not having to waste flowers the day after our wedding, I could send them back in for the next bride! If I had not gone with something borrowed we likely would have make our own flower arrangements. I was nervous about not knowing how those would look until the day of. I loved knowing EXACTLY what my flowers would look like on my wedding day. They were gorgeous! The customer service was never lacking! My shipment was delayed by a day but the team was quick to respond to my nerves insuring me they would over night a replacement box if needed. We highly recommend!”
